This is definitely the time of year that we all look for some ‘winter warmer’ recipes, especially snacks. Even in the ‘Vanuatu’ winter when we have to sometimes ditch the singlets and pull out our t-shirts, we look for some warm comfort food.

So on a mission we embarked and we went searching through one of our favourite recipe books to find a healthy and delicious ‘something’ to share with our Tanna Farms fans – this time, we were looking for savoury! When we turned to page 100 of the I Quit Sugar – Simplicious cook book we knew we’d found just the one!

Introducing ‘Cauli Popcorn‘ by I Quit Sugar.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup melted Tanna Farms Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp Paprika (smoked or sweet) or Tumeric
1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 large head of Cauliflower cut into bite size pieces

How to:
Preheat your over to 200 deg c.
Place the oil, spices and salt in a large bowl.
Toss in the cauliflower and coat well.
Transfer the cauli to a baking tray and bake, tossing once, for 30 minutes or until golden brown and resembles popcorn.
Serve as a snack or a delicious side to main course. I also reheated the next day and threw in with my lunch salad and it tasted great.
