The start of the New Year traditionally brings a whole series of New Year’s resolutions. Broadly speaking, they tend to go something like this: eat less, eat more, eat better, eat cleaner, get skinny, lose weight, save money and the list extensive list goes on!

We humans are funny creatures – why wait for the New Year?!

At Tanna Farms we’re big believers in consistency. If you consistently move your body and eat well then a healthy mind and body will follow. I see a lot of you roll your eyes thinking, ‘if only it were that easy!’, well sometimes it’s not but it’s something to at least work towards.

We’re not health professionals or personal trainers telling you what you should and shouldn’t do or eat. Instead, we make Coconut Oil and Peanut Butter and we’re really good at it. So to help you with the ‘eat well’ part of our belief system, we promise you that we will continue to provide you with healthy delicious recipes that use either or both of these really great products.

This Peanut Butter Smoothie recipe is quite the find and one to add to your ‘go to’ list of smoothie recipes. It’s nutty, thick, creamy and feels like you’re being naughty but you’re not! It’s designed to make you feel nice and full which will help curb the need for snacking and is made with really delicious healthy ingredients.

So to that we say gather your ingredients people, blend and enjoy!

Peanut Butter Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
2 Tbsp Tanna Farms Crushed It Peanut Butter
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder (or for some extra zing we also like Chocolate Flavoured Clean Lean Protein Powder)
1 Tbsp LSA (Linseed, Sunflower, Almond mixture)
1 Cup Ice
1/2 Cup Milk (you choose: Almond, Cows, Soy, Coconut)

Blend and enjoy!
